Our YOUNG RIDERS program is open to boys and girls age 5 to 7* for a half-day from  9:30 am – 12:30 pm.  Each child will have a riding lesson each day AND enjoy learning about ponies and how to care for them, including feeding, grooming and bathing.  The cost is $175 ($75 non-refundable deposit due May 5).  Save 10% if you register by April 25!  If space allows, Young Riders can participate on a drop-in basis for $50 per day. 
We’ll have plenty of fun farm games to play as well as crafts projects, scavenger hunts, and more.  Emphasis will be on safety around the animals and respect for them; teamwork and skill-building.  *(Children slightly younger or older will be accepted if farm & parents see fit.)   
Our JUNIOR TRAINERS group is open to boys and girls age 8 to 13 for a full day, from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm.  JR. Trainers will have a one-hour riding lesson each day.  Lessons will include English Ring Riding, Field and Trail Riding, Bareback Riding, Obstacle Riding, Drill Team and Cart Driving.   The cost is $350 /week ($100 non-refundable deposit due May 5). I
If space allows, Junior Trainers can participate on a drop-in basis for $100 per day. Save 10% if you register by April 25! 
JT’s will also learn about and assist with Horse Care and Stable Management, Horse Grooming, Basic Equine First Aid, and Horse Behavior. If time permits, we’ll include a field trip, either to a large Horse Show or Pony Breeding Farm.  Other activities can include farm games, arts & crafts, horse-trick teaching, archery, badminton, soccer and more.  Emphasis will be on safety, teamwork, skill-building and outdoor fun.    
Camp program is designed and run by Cori Nichols, a horsewoman with more than 25 years experience in riding, teaching and training. Additional counselors and special guests will assist with crafts, games and projects. NWF boasts a 10,000 sq foot covered and shaded arena, indoor and outdoor barns, lounge, picnic forest, fishing pond and nature trails.     NWF will try our best to facilitate carpooling. Campers MUST wear long pants and closed-front rubber soled shoes for riding, and can bring shorts to change into for unmounted activities.  All campers should bring sunscreen, bugspray and a sunhat. Half-day campers should bring a snack and beverage each day; full day campers must bring a lunch and beverage each day. Helmets must be worn while mounted and will be provided by NWF if your child doesn’t have one.

OPPORTUNITIES ABOUND ! We are always looking for (local) helpers to assist with barn duties (feeding, grooming, mucking, tacking, lungeing, etc.) You will learn from an experienced and kind horsewoman, and have access to our lesson horses and ponies.
